Honorary Doctorate to Prof. Dr. Gültekin Göller
 

 

Prof. Dr. Gültekin Göller, a member of our Faculty in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, was awarded the Doctor Honoris Cause (Honorary Doctorate) title by the Bucharest Technical University Senate in a decision dated 25.10.2022 and numbered 549, for his worldwide research in the field of Materials Science and his contributions to the development of bilateral cooperation between institutions. The ceremony took place on November 23, 2022, in the Bucharest Technical University Senate.

“Young Woman Scientist" award Award to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Ağaoğulları
 

 
A member of our faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu AĞAOĞULLARI in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering Deparment, was recently honored with "Young Woman Scientist" award which was presented to a total of four female scientists in the fields of Environmental and Physical Sciences within the “Women in Science” program that was established as part of a 20-year partnership between L'Oréal Turkey and UNESCO Turkey National Commission to promote gender equality and encourage young and talented women's participation in science, and ensure their recognition.

Prof. Dr. Gürbüz Güneş from Department of Food Engineering takes part as the principle investigator in the project entitled “PLASMAPACK: Double¬sided bio-treatment of polymeric foil for food packaging using coupled DBD¬Corona non¬thermal plasma” was accepted to be supported by EU from MANUNET 2020 program.
