ITU Rector at EELISA Governing Board Meeting
 

 
The EELISA Governing Board met on 22 February with a main agenda item: to discuss and coordinate a joint response in memory of the victims of the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, in support of the recovery efforts. Rector of ITU, Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, shared the latest updates on the situation during the meeting.
 
 
BME Specialists at the Earthquake Area
 

 
Together with ITU, BME specialists participated in the stability examination of damaged buildings of the earthquake in Türkiye, provided an expert report, and made the rescue areas safer.

EELISA Activities for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
 

 
On the first day (February 9), EELISA Gender Equality Units gathered in person for the first time after a year and a half of working together online. On day 2 (February 10) was the second public EELISA Roundtable titled “Parenting & STEM in the 21st Century: Raising children, giving up science?” with the participation of panelists from all EELISA institutions.
 
 
High-tech Enterpreneurship (HTE) Lecture Series
 

 
This lecture series is designed to introduce participants, PhD and undergraduate students from different disciplines (STEM, but also Social Sciences and Humanities), including young researchers and post-docs to the basic knowledge and competences about High-Tech Entrepreneurship. This course aims to provide understanding of the role, analytics and process of business planning to create new innovative business ventures for the participants.
