This book is prepared as a result of a research project conducted by a team consisting of architects, interior designers, industrial designers, and civil engineers within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program "Earthquake Studies" Call, which was launched in 2021. It is observed through the experiences that in cases where structures do not collapse during earthquakes, risks that can be encountered can be reduced by taking precautions in their interior spaces. The presented criteria for residential interior design aim to serve as a guide accessible to both designers and the general public, as well as a scientific resource for achieving social awareness and consciousness. Additionally, considering the potential usability of the proposed algorithmic design model for interior spaces of various types of structures such as schools and hospitals, it is believed that the study can have a widespread impact on future works related to the subject.
